Lesson #30. Don’t send my chronology back to me. Send only new data.

Here is how it works:

1. You write the chronology and send it to me.

2. I re-format the chronology, convert it to html and upload it to the internet.

4. I copy the data from your email and paste it into the chronology. They I upload the revised version of the chronology.

5.        You click on the refresh button and the new version of your chronology appears on your screen. You will know that it is different by looking at the version number in the top left corner.

It is your responsibility to update your chronology periodically. Some people insert the new data into the existing chronology. That’s bad. Here is the right way: Collect the new data. Upgrade the data by making it into a partial chronology, partial list of players, and partial list of documents. Then paste it into the body of an email. I will received the email. I will copy and paste the data into the right place in the chronology.
